Pros

  • A classic game for this management genre that only seems to get better with age
  • Deftly combines its management and simulation functions
  • Available on a variety of platforms

Cons

  • Has not aged well, and it's graphics now appear woefully old
  • Does not sync across all of the platforms in which the game is available, so you'll have to start a new game for every platform you play on

Farming Simulator 2018 is just what it sounds like: It is a management and simulation game that allows you to be a farmer.

If you enjoying farming simulators, you know that you have many options to choose from. This is, absolutely, one of the best. The game allows you to tend to a variety of animal and plant crops, manage your equipment, upgrade your farm, and sell your goods for profits. The game does a good job of combining two classic genres, simulation and management. It is unquestionably a game that is limited in scope to people who enjoy farming, but if that is you, you may enjoy this one.

The game comes out every year, and this version is now almost three years old. Unfortunately, in some respects, the age of the game shows, as its graphics now appear very out of date. Furthermore, many features that are relatively standard to most games, like the ability to synchronize your game over numerous platforms, are not available here.

The game is available for download at a cheaper price than its more modern counterparts. Thus, if you are interested in making a purchase of one of the recent versions of Farming Simulator, but don't want to spend the money on a new version of the game, you can try this one first.
